Classic Waffles

Ingredients

400g
self-rising flour
600ml
milk
4
large eggs
120ml
vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, sift the self-rising flour.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the flour while whisking to create a smooth batter.
  4. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Pour the appropriate amount of batter onto the heated waffle iron (usually about 1/2 to 3/4 cup per waffle).
  6. Cook until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

For the crispiest waffles, serve immediately. If needed, keep them warm in a preheated oven at 95°C while making the remaining waffles.
